BETH GIACHETTI FINE ART
Beth Giachetti, representational oil painter

About Beth
Beth Giachetti enjoys realistic painting of still lifes, people and animals, landscapes and city-scapes. She has had her heart and hands in art all of her life, but is in love with oil painting now that she can devote herself full-time to that endeavor.
Oil painting became the focus of Beth’s artistic interest after a 25 year adventure creating historically correct model miniature scenes. Reproducing these 1/12th scale models of historic rooms encompassed scale furniture construction, miniature sculpting and even silver smithing & stained glass work! When she decided to create oil paintings in 1/12th scale for these miniature scenes, Beth began studying with Brenda Semanick, professional artist and teacher. As Beth learned more about oil painting techniques, she fell in love with painting and decided to make the switch from miniatures to full size painting.
Beth has continued her painting studies with Brenda Semanick at Brenda Semanick Studio in Tucson since 2010. She has also studied with visiting artists at the Scottsdale Artists School (Bryce Cameron Liston, Michelle Dunaway, Daniel Keys, Mitch Baird & Charlie Hunter) and with various artists at studios in southern Arizona, Linda Glover Gooch at DMAL, Qiang Huang at Brenda Semanick Studio, Sarah Webber at Geren Gallery and Linda Ahearn at Toscana Studio and Gallery.
